The pie charts show us 3 diferent uses of water measured as a percentage, which are Industrial, Agricultural, and Domestic. 6 different zones around the world are surveyed: North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Central and South East Asia.

Comparing all of these charts, we can see that the percentages of North America and Europe are fairly similar to each other with the majority of water use being Industrial, 48% and 53% respectively. Agricultural and Domestic usage is also more or less the same, showing North America using 7% more than Europe, at 39% and 2% less than Europe (15%) for each of these requirements.

As to the other 4 areas, it is clearly shown that the majority of water is for Agriculture with the lowest percentage being 71% in South America and the highest 88% in Central Asia. Industrial use varies between 5% and 12%, with Domestic ranging from 7% to 19%, again with South Ameria being the highest in this requirement.

In summary, it is evident that the less developed areas are using most of their water for agriculture, whereas the developed continents are using it for industry.
